EchoStar Corp. has reportedly acquired a large amount of Sirius XM Radio's debts, leading to speculation that the satellite TV company is plotting a takeover of the troubled satcaster. The Wall Street Journal's sources say that EchoStar owner Charles Ergen has acquired part of $300 million in Sirius debt, which will mature on February 17
This is terrific. Out of curiosity, is there any radio people that are actually going to be running radio companies anymore? As I said in another post, this industry is doomed every time the TV people intervene. Its a different media, pure and simple.
